February’s theme is Letting Go. God’s creation (nature) is letting go of the bitter cold & snow of winter, giving way to the new life that comes with spring. So too, God calls you to let go things that keep you from him & all he wants for you as you move forward. And that includes good health.

Why Use Positive Affirmations to Let Go?

Your spiritual health is one of the biggest keys to your physical health. When you are bound by fear, doubt, overwhelm, shame, clutter, resentment, and all those things not of God, dis-ease takes hold. These things can keep you in patterns you know aren’t the best for the Temple God blessed you with.

There are many things you can do to let go of those things and bring you closer to the Prince of Peace, Jesus, and allow more peace, joy, love, self-control and all the things God wants for you into your life. One of them is journaling technique called positive affirmations.

Positive affirmations are like little prescriptions you write for yourself. Words that have the power to change your thoughts that will eventually change your reality.

By reading, writing down and saying these words out loud, you change your thoughts. Your thoughts then become your actions, your actions your habits, your habits your reality.

Using positive affirmations to let go of those things that don’t serve you allows you to grow closer to our Lord, feel more peace and ease in your life. They will also allow you to create new patterns, including patterns that will lead to vibrant health & well-being.
